SamLogic USB AutoRun Creator

With SamLogic’s CD-Menu Creator you can set it so that when a CD is inserted, a menu will automatically appear on the user’s screen. If you sell software for example, you can set it so that when your customer inserts the CD, a menu will show up and offer to install said software. With SamLogic’s USB AutoRun Creator you can achieve something similar. You can set it so that when a USB Flash drive is connected to the PC, a certain action will automatically run. You see, this is a tool that lets you give AutoRun capabilities to USB storage devices. When one is plugged in, preconfigured actions will be run automatically.

The system requirements for running USB AutoRun Creator are: Intel x86 or x64 processor, at least 512MB of RAM, 10MB of free disk space, Windows operating system (32 or 64-bit edition, any edition from Windows XP to Windows 8.1). It’s safe to say that modern and even older PCs will have no problems meeting these system requirements.

A setup wizard will help you install USB AutoRun Creator on your PC. It will inform you what you can use USB AutoRun Creator as a standalone application or together with the aforementioned CD-Menu Creator. If you want to create menu interfaces for USB drives, SamLogic recommends you also install CD-Menu Creator.

The first time you run USB AutoRun Creator, you will be presented with an Introduction. Among other things, it tells you that USB AutoRun Creator can be used to automatically open programs, documents, movies, and more whenever a USB drive is connected.

USB AutoRun Creator is free to use for a limited period of time. You can use the application for evaluation purposes for a period of 30 days. A prompt will show up every time you launch USB AutoRun Creator and will tell you how many days are left in your trial.

Thanks to USB AutoRun Creator, when a USB Flash Drive is plugged in, programs, documents, or media will be automatically opened.
